This website is set up with the purpose to have meaningful exchanges of ideas. We will present topics we think need to be addressed by our representatives, allow you to input your ideas through feedback, then develop a proposed bill we think our representatives should bring to the floor.

Our power is stripped away from us by the media, the economic elites who control the media, and corrupt politicians who cater to the economic elites. The end result are useless laws written ambiguously in order to confuse the masses and provide avenues of opportunities for the rich and well lawyered to continue their dominance over our socio-economic realms.

Unity is OUR strength, and it has eroded since the dismantling of the Fairness Doctrine (which made media bias illegal). We are a divided country, ripped apart by people who have no interest in anything but their individual wealth. Right or Left, it is time we wake up and understand who we need to unite against before we are unable to do so.

There will be things you disagree with here, some of the ideas we discuss I will be opposed to as well.

BUT, that is ok. In fact, it is necessary to achieve the best possible outcome for the majority of the people. So, with that in mind, WE MUST RESPECT EACH OTHER on this forum. Rudeness and anger are highly discouraged. If something upsets you, the best approach would be to step away from the website, create a rationale dissent, then present it absent of malice.

Yes, it is hard to do. And I will admit that I sometimes add to the rancor on social media sites (an unruly behavior I am trying to correct). But this is a cooperative site, therefore a low threshold of tolerance for abusive conduct will be observed in order to maintain mutual respect and decorum. Passion is important, but in these dark times, grace is even more important.

I hope this is something that interests you and keeps your attention. Afterall, this government is only one of the people by the people if the people participate.
